The Old Kent Barn is a passionate family wedding venue in Kent striving to offer the very best facilities and a first class personal service. Originally a three bedroom Bed & Breakfast run by Hilary and Roger Simmons the venue was transformed into an events and wedding venue in Kent when their daughter Claire Weedon and their son-in-law Will Weedon joined in 2006.
In fact it was Claire and Will's wedding reception at the Barn in 2005 that gave the four family members the idea to put all their talents together and run a wedding venue. Now in its 14th year, The Old Kent Barn is a multi award winning venue with a passionate team of staff; a team dedicated to making it the perfect place to say 'I Do'. The venue is nestled in the countryside near Folkestone, Hythe, Ashford, Canterbury and Dover.

After 10 years and over 700 married couples, Will and Claire couldn't imagine doing anything else.
4 Wedding Coordinators are on hand and all work closely with our couples from their first visit till their wedding day.
You can call on their support with all aspects leading up to your day and you can visit as often as you like!

In 2015 we decided to bring the catering side of the business in-house.
The desire from the outset was to create restaurant quality food on a banqueting scale and the team have worked hard with Head Chef, James Crank, to produce a menu that clients will adore.
Hearty, yet refined dishes are designed with quality produce and presented in a unique way.
James has been on a fantastic journey working in some of Kent and London's finest restaurants.
He is most proud of his time with Scott Goss at The Swan and with Marcus Wearing at The Berkeley.
