A long time ago, but several years after this school picture was taken, our parents and sister Carrie opened a flower shop in Petworth.
It didn't take long for the flower shop to grow in popularity selling flowers, plants and vintage garden tools.
Back then many of the flowers were locally grown, with supplied by nurseries from along the south coast and in the surrounding villages.
At the tender age of 18, Matthew joined the team after a brief spell working in a local nursery and he took to floristry like a duck to water.
It didn't take long for the flower shop to grow in popularity selling flowers, plants and vintage garden tools.
