I fell in love with flowers when I was a child, making daisy chains and posies from the garden. Even our dog couldn't escape the flowers I regularly crowned her head with. In 2001, by then a qualified florist and of course rather a bit older, I saw this little shop perched on Houghton Bridge, Amberley in West Sussex. I instantly fell in love with it.
Sitting proudly on the edge of the River Arun within this stunning, chocolate box English village my business blossomed. You have probably guessed by now how the name Amberlillys came about - Amberley the village where my little shop sat and lily which was and still is my favourite flower. Now and many hundred of weddings and events later and I have since outgrown the little shop and I concentrate solely on wedding flowers.
There is nothing more pleasing than being a part of what is the happiest and most romantic of occasions and I genuinely get as passionate and excited now when I create my designs as I did when I first started. From small and intimate to large and formal my objective every time is to exceed the expectations of all my customers.
