We truly believe that cakes should look fantastic and taste fantastic too. So many of the cakes we bought in cafes and coffee shops looked really delicious but were disappointing, dry and tasteless. As a trained chef in need of a new challenge, I turned to old family recipe books, handed down by my Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. From these well-used, hand written pages came a whole host of our favourite traditional recipes which we continue to develop.
We are constantly researching and testing new ideas and inspirations. We specialise in amazing, hand made cakes for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and all other celebrations, and artisan cakes which we supply to some of the best coffee shops and delis all over the Harrogate area. We firmly believe that cakes should be made the traditional way, as we would for our own family - with flour, butter and eggs - not long lists of chemicals nobody can pronounce!
We also use as much fresh, local produce as possible, including local Free Range eggs and dairy produce.

Our hygiene standards have been and always will be 5-star.
We use hair nets, clean aprons and latex free gloves for each cake, we also now use n95 face masks and only handle the boxes using gloves too.
Box lids are now sealed to prevent lifting until you get home.
We now have a 'contact-free' collection process; we arrange a collection time, you arrive and beep your horn, we put your cake box on a clean plastic tray for you and then go back inside.
