Beerfest at Grittenham
Report
We had such fun adding the flowers for the wedding ceremony in the barn too.
Caroline wanted a big, loose bouquet with sunflowers and greenery plus the yellow and white additions.
We were asked to create a beer festival in the barn with sunflowers, beer bottles and hops.
The wedding flowers needed to be informal and to make the most of the wonderful barn features - beams, fireplace and outdoor steps.
Teamwork at Upwaltham
Report
I met Christina at an Open Day at Upwaltham Barns and whilst talking we discovered that her 'aunt', Sue who was helping her with styling her wedding, including the flowers, lived in Lavant.
It had the makings of a great team effort.
Christina loved the David Austin Juliet roses but had reservations about the cost.
She had also acquired a selection of 'copper' containers to use for the floral table displays at the reception and the arrangements needed to suit these.
Christina asked for very simple designs for the pew ends at Boxgrove Priory which already has so much lovely decoration.
Classic Elegance at Goodwood
Report
Goodwood House is a magnificent and ornate setting for a wedding.
Home to the Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival, the house has wonderful rooms and art adorns every wall.
To complement the setting we chose a classic and traditional approach to the wedding flowers for Sarah and Henry's wedding.
Sarah is related to a dutch flower family so no pressure!
Vintage Tea at Cowdray Walled Garden
Report
Both the ceremony and tea were at the Walled Garden in Cowdray Park.
They were able to enjoy the fruits of our small cutting garden with scabious, sweet peas, lavender and herbs all sourced from our patch.
Natural style British summer flowers in mixed pastel colours with a delicate and natural feel.
